A proud Santa Fean and 2012 graduate of St. Michael’s High School, Mr. Armijo earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from New Mexico State University in 2016. After working for the Law Offices of the Public Defender for a short time, he decided to transition from legal support staff to lawyer. Wanting to practice in his home state, Mr. Armijo attended the University of New Mexico School of Law. During his time there, he achieved Dean’s List and Honor Roll, while also participating in several student organizations and competitions. He was a member of the UNM National Moot Court Team and Treasurer of the student chapter of the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association. He also spent a semester teaching local high school students about their constitutional rights through the Marshall-Brennan Program. The School of Law Faculty recognized Mr. Armijo for his approach to developing and applying his legal knowledge, awarding him the Judge Oliver Seth Award for Excellence in Ethics.
Mr. Armijo was hired as a law clerk at the Moses Law Firm starting the summer after his first year and continued in that capacity throughout law school. He now joins the Firm as an attorney after graduating magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2020 and being admitted to practice in New Mexico. His practice focuses on general civil litigation, probate and trust administration, and representation of businesses in transactional, contract, and employment/personnel matters. In his spare time, Mr. Armijo enjoys fishing, travel, and tasting all the wonderful beer, wine, spirits, and cuisine New Mexico has to offer.
